Terms of Service
Even short-term tools need clear rules
These terms form the agreement between you and MsgFwd for temporary email, email forwarding, and related features. Please read them in full before using any feature. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
What’s allowed
- Receive verification codes and one-time notifications you requested
- Separate software trials, subscriptions, and shopping emails
- Test email delivery flows you are authorized to operate
- Use forwarding aliases to keep your primary inbox private
What’s not allowed
- Fraud, impersonation, phishing, harassment, or threats
- Bypassing bans, platform safeguards, or age protections
- Bulk registration, spam, or automated abuse
- Violating privacy, intellectual property, or other legal rights

Full service terms
1. Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using the service, you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be old enough under the laws where you live to enter this type of agreement and have the capacity to accept responsibility for your actions.
You may not use the service if the law prohibits you from using services like this, or if you are subject to sanctions, a court order, or restrictions under your employer’s policies. Organizational users must ensure that their members also follow these terms.
2. Service description
MsgFwd provides short-term temporary inboxes, plus email-forwarding aliases with verification-code login, archiving, and security settings. Features, capacity, domains, and retention periods may change for security, operational, or legal reasons.
Temporary addresses are valid for 3 hours by default. After an extension, their total lifetime will not exceed 24 hours; forwarded messages are generally archived for no more than 30 days. These tools are not a permanent mailbox, records-retention, or disaster-recovery service.
3. Login and account security
You are responsible for controlling your login email, devices, verification codes, and 2FA authenticator, and should sign out on shared or public devices. Do not share one-time codes, sell account access, or access another person’s console without authorization.
If you notice suspicious access, secure your login email immediately and contact support. Losses caused by disclosing your credentials or failing to maintain the destination mailbox do not make us responsible for controlling a third-party account.
4. Acceptable use
You may use the service for verification you initiated, lawful subscriptions, software testing, and everyday privacy separation. Testing must target systems you own or are clearly authorized to operate, and must comply with the relevant website rules.
You may not use the service for fraud, phishing, harassment, bulk registration, spam, malware distribution, or evading platform enforcement. You may not use automated requests to impair availability, probe other people’s mailboxes, or consume a disproportionate share of resources.
5. Content and third parties
Email content is primarily created by third-party senders. We do not claim ownership of it or endorse its statements. You are responsible for deciding whether emails, links, attachments, and verification-code requests are genuine and expected.
Third-party services may reject disposable domains or change their delivery policies, and we cannot force them to accept an address. You must not describe a third party’s rejection or delay as a restriction MsgFwd guarantees it can bypass.
6. Intellectual property
The site design, brand, software, and original copy are owned by MsgFwd or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service under these terms.
Do not copy the service source code, remove rights notices, impersonate the brand, or deceive users with confusingly similar domains. Permitted references must credit the source and must not suggest a partnership or endorsement.
7. Fees and changes
Features shown on this page may currently be offered at no cost, but we may provide separate details about pricing, billing periods, and terms before introducing paid features. Accessing a free temporary email does not create a subscription charge without your express consent.
We may improve, replace, or discontinue features and will provide reasonable notice of major, long-term changes where practicable. Security incidents, legal requirements, or infrastructure failures may require immediate adjustments.
8. Availability and maintenance
We work to keep the service available, but do not guarantee that every email will be delivered, arrive in order, or be available without interruption. Sender policies, network routing, spam filters, and maintenance can all affect results.
Keep an alternative channel for important communications. Do not rely solely on a temporary address for payments, medical matters, legal deadlines, or recovery of critical accounts. Planned maintenance and emergency response may temporarily limit creation, reading, or forwarding.
9. Suspension and termination
If there is abuse, a security risk, a legal requirement, excessive automation, or a breach of these terms, we may rate-limit, suspend an address, delete content, or terminate access. Where necessary, we may retain minimal evidence to investigate incidents or meet our obligations.
You may stop using temporary features, delete aliases, or sign out of the console to end your use. Termination does not cancel responsibilities that arose before termination, and deleted names are not guaranteed to become available for registration again.
10. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees of uninterrupted or error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or acceptance of an address by third parties. We do not verify the authenticity of every message for you.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties; in that case, those exclusions apply only to the extent permitted. Any express promise must come from these terms or a written statement by someone authorized to represent us.
11. Limitation of liability and indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including lost data, lost profits, or inability to recover a third-party account. Liability that cannot be excluded remains subject to applicable law.
If a third party makes a claim because of your unlawful use, infringing content, or breach of these terms, you must assume the corresponding responsibility to the extent permitted by law. This does not require consumers to waive non-waivable statutory rights.
12. Law, changes, and contact
Disputes should first be addressed in good faith through support@msgfwd.com, with details of the relevant feature, timing, and reproducible information. Mandatory consumer-protection laws and the rules of courts with jurisdiction are not excluded by these terms.
We may update these terms and display the date at the top of the page; significant changes will receive reasonable notice. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain effective. Delaying enforcement of a right does not permanently waive it.
